We are currently looking to appoint a Principal Engineer to work within our Water Business Line in Belfast.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of water and wastewater projects for our clients in Ireland and will take the role of technical lead on large or complex projects, or programmes of smaller projects, where appropriate. You will also be responsible for mentoring Senior Engineers/Engineers to promote their technical and professional development.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience in the delivery of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects from feasibility through to design and delivery. Previous experience in a managerial, client-facing position will be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join one of Ireland’s largest water consultancies.
To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following;
Experience in the production of wastewater treatment feasibility/appraisal studies.
Experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team to complete technical project delivery.
Experience in the production of outline and detailed civil engineering designs for major sewerage infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes.
Experience in creating and maintaining internal project management systems e.g. health and safety, programming, and financial governance systems.
Experience with the NEC suite of contracts.
Experience in a role which involved client management responsibilities.
Engaged within your industry, holding Chartered Civil Engineer status.
Advanced degree in civil engineering.
